At the beginning of December I went to London with my mum. We wanted to experience the city wrapped in christmas magic. And well, we got particularly roped into the sparkle of the shop decorations. I got loads of my christmas shopping done, so not all of the following products are intended for me. I’d probably have enough body lotion to still be rubbing candy scented body lotion on my 80 year old wrinkly skin.

Because none of my friends read my blog I am going to show you all of the products I bought in the course of one week. I hope it’ll inspire you for some last minute christmas gifts as well.

Let’s start with Soap & Glory products, because I picked up quite a lot. Even though we do have S&G in Vienna, the variety of products is not the same. We only have a limited number of scents, hence I’m sacrificing my suitcase to have a few pounds more. But everyone puts on more weight around Christmas so i guess it’s fine.

Picking up another Hand Food is mandatory, but I fell in love with the Soap & Glory The Daily Smooth Body Butter, which reminds me a lot of The Body Shop Shea Body Butter, without the same price tag. Also The Righteous Butter has the signature S&G scent and I can’t complain slathering myself in that heavenly smell.

When my skin freaks out I normally go back to the basics. And the basics are well… simple.

I already got the kind to skin replenishing rich moisturizer with me, but I added the cleansing wipes, vital vitamin day cream with SPF 15 and the purifying cleansing lotion to my collection. They really do what they say, they’re kind to my skin and to my wallet.

Let’s stick with Superdrug and Boots purchases. I was over the moon when I saw that the Zoella Beauty Range was fully in stock as well as her Christmas Limited Edition Products. Because spending money is a lot more enjoyable when you have a matching hashtag. #TeamInternet

Look how pretty her products are! I think they make gorgeous little gifts, I’d love to receive all of those products and frankly I’m gonna need backup. I normally hate applying hand cream (who doesn’t) BUT the Wonder Hand Hand Cream is a GAME CHANGER. You wanna go around and ask people to feel your skin.

I’ve got a bit of a sock situation going on. I’ll admit it, I love socks. I love receiving them, I love gifting them, especially at Christmas Time when all you want is to be cozy. I’m going to give you an idea about the fine sock selection I picked up. Socks make awesome litte presents or stocking fillers and conveniently enough at this time of year there are loads of cute ones.

You can find all of the ones I bought at Topshop, except the Christmas Pugs, which were purchased at River Island. These were all from the women section, I also got my boyfriend some socks which all involve dinosaurs, but he wouldn’t wait wearing them, so unfortunately no pictures of dinosaurs with santa hats socks.

Disney, please listen closely. I need a plushy version of Sven from Frozen as a baby. I can’t believe you disappointed me like that. I’m still not over the fact that the present I wanted to give myself this year was not there waiting for a cuddle. But instead, I picked up our version of a His and Hers Mug.

Urban Outfitters knows my friends too well. They have a #UOGifted section and I picked the little book of drinking games up, as well as the „yoga class? I thought you said pour a glass“ hip flask.

I found the shot glasses at Spitalfields market at Tiger and they were super cheap. They make the perfect gift, I’m quite proud of myself for this one.

I took a trip to Shoreditch, Boxpark, because Novem & Knight had a pop up store there. I made a blabbering fool out of myself when I met Sammi and Jason, but it was totally worth it. I picked up their White Chunky Beanie and I adore it.

The burgundy one is from Topman. It have a serious problem with beanies slipping off my head, but this one doesn’t so my winter is sorted.

While I was waiting for Sammi and Jason to open, I picked up this lovely gift at Boxpark which involves cats.

I have never seen cuter salt and pepper pots.

Let’s talk make up.

L’Oréal Infallible Fixing Mist £7.99

Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stain in shanghai sizzle £7.99

Sleek Brow Kit in dark £8.50

Max Factor creme puff blush in gorgeous berries £8.99

this bad boy is one hell of a pigmented blusher, caution when applying. I looked like a 50s doll first time using it.

Real Techniques miracle complexion sponge £5.99

I needed a backup for my beauty blender, because the material started to come off after I tried to disinfect it with a regular make up brush cleanser. This things are a ‚MARE to clean, but worth it. I also prefer this one to the original beauty blender because the edges are better to reach certain areas of your face.

Ofc I had to pick up Miss Tanya Burr on the cover of Glamour. It came with a sample of the Clinique dramatically different moisturizing lotion+. I am not a huge fan of Clinique skin care, so I’ll probably give it to someone else. I found this Covergirl LashBlast Lengthening Mascara at Portobello Market.

I had to take a single shot of this „winter snow“ Urban Outfitter’s candle, because of the way it fits in perfectly with my sofa table.

And now the real reason you go to London: The Snacks.

I had to pick up Dairy Mild buttons, just because I watched to many vlogs where Amelia Liana talked about them. The Salted Caramel Flavour Biscuits from Harrods were my favorite though. Yes, past tense. They’re all gone.

My mandatory Waterstones trip ended up with me getting two books.

You’re the One that I Want by Giovanna Fletcher and this beautiful edition of The Beautiful and Damned by F. Scott Fitzgerald.

I simply had to make a trip to Space.NK, because I was excited to try out the hype beauty product of the year: Emma Hardie’s amazing face cleansing balm. This makes the perfect gift for a beauty addict, because you get a small version for £10 to try out. See for yourself if it’s worth the hype.

I stocked up on christmas cards at Boxpark Giftbox and Paperchase.

A few bits and bobs
