Soap & Glory, No Clogs Allowed Super Self-Heating Deep Pore Detox Mask £11.50

The Soap & Glory No Clogs Allowed Super Self-Heating Deep Pore Detox Mask claims to deep cleanse your face and your pores as well as preventing breakouts and blemishes. Among the ingredients is glycerin, which is supposed to smoothen the skin on top of that.

The mask has a minty fresh feel to it and I found the heating up to be a particular funny feeling, but i have come to really enjoy it. There’s a noticeable exfoliation thanks to the micro beads that are included. I am not 100% sure about the scent. You’re not going to be spoiled with the usual heavenly smelling Soap & Glory perfume.

You’re supposed to know when you have to wash the mask off, when the color changes, but in my experience the face mask starts off blue anyway. It activates after water comes in the mix, but my preferred pamper time is in the bath, so the blue issue probably has nothing to do with the product, sorry Soap & Glory.

I used the mask for quite some time now once a week and I enjoy the the process of applying it, but I haven’t found that the expectations were met. It didn’t change anything for me in terms of blemishes or blackheads. I guess the heating process is supposed to open up the pores and fake a superquick steam, but I never found that it helped with removing any unwanted blackheads. I love Soap & Glory as a brand, but I wouldn’t repurchase this particular product, because I didn’t find that the product works that well for my skin.
